This guide compiles the most common WhatsApp Business API errors and how to resolve them. Use this reference when messages are not being delivered or when there are failures in the integration with the Patagon AI Agent.

Phone number is not registered

Number was deregistered or there is a problem with two-factor verification

Check the number status in WABA. Reconfigure verification if necessary


How to Identify the Error

On the Patagon AI platform, you can check the message delivery status on the Conversations page. Failed messages will display the corresponding error code.

If you need more details, access the WhatsApp Manager in Meta Business Suite to check logs and number status.


Frequent Issues

Messages are not being sent

  1. Check if there is a valid payment method configured (error 131030)

  2. Confirm that you are using an approved template for messages outside the 24h window (error 100)

  3. Check if the company number is active in WABA (error 131051)

Template was rejected by Meta

  • Review whether there is a clear company identification

  • Check spelling and grammar

  • Confirm that variables are well structured
